We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry of Energy in Myanmar will be co-organizing another Myanmar Drilling & Exploration Conference & Exhibition this year 24-25 July at the Traders Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar.
Myanmar Drilling 2011 Conference & Exhibition was a landmark event for the drilling professionals interested in Myanmar’s drilling and exploration operations. The conference highlighted the exploration and production opportunities available in Myanmar and also addressed the challenges to the drilling operations shaping business today and tomorrow.

Myanmar Drilling & Exploration 2013 Conference & Exhibition will again bring together the industry leaders and major stakeholders in Myanmar and beyond.
Regional operations have their own unique requirements, and Myanmar Drilling and Exploration 2013 will explore those opportunities and challenges faced within the drilling & exploration operations in Myanmar, South East Asia’s arena of increasing drilling activity today.
The program for this conference will be tailored to the specific needs of Myanmar’s drilling industry as the Ministry of Energy seeks paper topics that will explore not only the technical challenges facing the drilling sector but also health, safety, environment & training(HSE&T), human resources(HR), business and social challenges.
This time around the focus will be on underlining the following key components fundamental to Myanmar’s Ministry of Energy with its’ vision for the drilling & exploration industry successfully moving forward:
- Sustaining environmental protection
- Improving safety practices & workers’ well-being
- Developing competent HR & proper credentialing
- Promoting active corporate social responsibility programmes
